Understanding the Life and Ministry of Les Feldick
Before exploring the details surrounding his passing and the ongoing availability of his teachings, it is helpful to understand the foundational roots of his work. Les Feldick was not a formally educated theologian in the traditional seminary sense; rather, he was a cattle rancher and farmer from Oklahoma who possessed a profound, lifelong passion for studying the Bible. His informal yet deeply analytical approach resonated with everyday believers seeking a deeper, literal understanding of scriptural texts.
His television program began humbly on a local cable access channel in Oklahoma in the late 1980s. Word-of-mouth recommendations and the clear, unhurried pace of his instruction quickly propelled the program onto regional and eventually national broadcast networks. By utilizing a simple chalkboard and an open Bible, Feldick taught classes that spanned Genesis through Revelation, maintaining a steadfast focus on the distinctions between God's program for Israel and the mysteries revealed to the Apostle Paul for the Body of Christ.

Doctrinal Focus: What Set Les Feldick Apart
To fully appreciate the enduring legacy of Les Feldick, one must examine the specific hermeneutical framework that defined his teaching. Unlike many contemporary televangelists who focused heavily on practical life coaching or prosperity theology, Feldick maintained a strict adherence to dispensational theology, specifically emphasizing Pauline truth.
His primary thesis rested on the concept that the Apostle Paul received distinct revelations concerning the Church, which were separate from the prophetic program given to the nation of Israel under the Law. This perspective generated passionate loyalty among his viewers, who appreciated his aversion to denominational politics and his reliance solely on verse-by-verse exposition.
Core Theological Tenets Taught by Les Feldick
- Literal Interpretation: Taking the historical and grammatical context of scripture at face value without allegorizing foundational events.
- Right Division: Applying the command in 2 Timothy 2:15 to correctly handle the word of truth by distinguishing between Israel's program and the Body of Christ.
- The Pauline Epistles: Emphasizing Romans through Philemon as the primary doctrinal blueprint for Christian living in the current dispensation of grace.
- Non-Commercialism: Maintaining a ministry model that historically declined standard fundraising pressure tactics, relying instead on voluntary contributions from viewers.
